With over 30 years of experience spanning multiple industries, Edward Ranieri brings a wealth of knowledge in franchising, business ownership, and disaster recovery. As the President of Teach Franchising since 2020, Edward has guided numerous clients through the complex world of franchising, leveraging insights gained from owning and operating eight different businesses. His leadership and business acumen have been integral to helping others succeed in growing their own ventures.
Before founding Teach Franchising, Edward held key positions in the disaster restoration field, notably serving as President of ServiceMaster Clean/Restore and Director of Education at ServiceMaster of Charleston, SC. In these roles, he managed large-scale disaster recovery projects and imparted industry best practices to professionals across the field.
Edward's expertise in disaster recovery gained national recognition through his starring role on HGTV's "Catastrophe Inc.," where he traveled the country helping homeowners recover from catastrophic events. He is a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFC) and continues his passion for education by training insurance adjusters and real estate agents on essential topics like water damage, mold remediation, and disaster recovery.
In addition to his leadership and teaching roles, Edward has continuously pursued advanced education, attending seminars and obtaining certifications in areas such as advanced restorative drying, infrared thermography, and home inspection. His comprehensive experience makes him a trusted advisor in the fields of franchise ownership, business development, and disaster restoration.
